Niitty had this thing going with the city of Jyväskylä that they would arrange a fairly big techno event at the same time as the annual Jyväskylä Arts Festival.

I got this chance to play a small 20-minute set with my Commodore 64 at the entrance lounge. The feeling was pretty intense, the lounge was packed with people who danced through the whole thing and they seemed to be enjoying it!

Jeff Mills was pretty unforgettable on the bigger stage, which was also packed full of people, and the sweat in the air would condense into clouds near the ceiling and come down as refreshing rain.
