Vastavirta is a club for alternative music in Pispala, Tampere. They had lots of bands in this event: 8 Bits High, Kasperi Laineen Kummitusorkesteri, The Kolmas...

It was not too crowded in the audience though, but at least the few people there were really into it.

My third time at Telex. Only Nu Science has accomplished this remarkable achievement before me. :-)

Another rock gig at Lutakko, warming up for Imatran Voima. It was nice, really lots of people. I think IVO hasn't been playing in Jyväskylä as much as they should!

This time I played synthesizer versions of my greatest Commodore 64 hits.

Entropy arranged the "official techno rave" at Assembly.

I got the chance to arrange the line-up for this night at Agora.

I tried to get AMJ (C64 musician from Byterapers, Extend, Side B and Topaz Beerline) to play there, but unfortunately he had to cancel.

Anyway I got great local talents like DJ Bad Passion and DJ Naks (the arrangers of Club Sievä), DJ Ukkosporo from the Puola band (Rikos Records) and DJ Vectrocon from Electro Basement. It's a free event so nobody gets any money. I was afraid the DJ's wouldn't be motivated, and it would all go horribly wrong somehow... But I was wrong about all that, every set was excellent!

Unfortunately the weather was worse than it usually is during Yläkaupungin Yö, and Agora is not in the middle of Jyväskylä's uptown, which is the heart of the event, so not too many people wandered out there.

My second time at Jyrock. It's an indoor festival, but I was playing outside at the terrace.

I got to play with Puola in Lutakko. It's a fairly well-known rock stage, but they seem to have a "rhythm club" every now and then.

Another chance to play in Oulu, this time alongside VCS2600. The club was at a bus station, which was kind of interesting, but it actually worked really well after they set up the lights and everything.

My little black'n'white TV went dead mysteriously during the gig. I had to play the last tune "blind". Fortunately I had been playing for over half an hour already, so I guess it didn't matter.

"Magneetti" had an electro club at Tampere where I got to play one night with DJ DCOM.

Kääntö Records has this dub-club in Turku.

I warmly recommend it to any artist -- they give you great food and despite the place being pretty small there were lots of dancing people.

I brought my Commodore 64 and played a couple of records after that as well.
